2011 Team Kids 4 Kids Triathlon:

The Kids 4 Kids Triathlon is being put on by the Kids 4 Kids triathlon club based in Atlanta, GA.

This event will offer various distances that are age approriate from youth 6 years old through teens up to 19 years old.

The event will take place in Atlanta, Georgia on August 14, 2011.

The Kids 4 Kids Triathlon will include a youth/teen challenged athlete division for kids with disabilities and serious illnesses.

In addition, this event will benefit Camp Twin Lakes, a camp for children with disabilities, serious illnesses, and life challenges.

Course Information:

Swim:

Indoor Pool Swim

Bike:

Closed to Traffic - Flat Course -

1 loop for 9 & under,

2 loops for 10-13

4 loops for 14 & Older

Run:

Closed to Traffic - Rolling Course -

500 yds for 9 & under

1 loop for 10-13 on road

1 trail loop and 1 road loop for 14 & Older

Race Course will be closed to Traffic supported by Dekalb Police Department & Mercer Police

Age Divisions: 6/7, 8/9, 10/11, 12/13, 14/15, 16-19

6/7 & 8/9 - Swim 50 yds, Bike 1.5 miles, Run 500 yards

PC and Camp Twin Lakes Division - Swim 50 yds, Bike 1.5 miles, Run 500 yards

10/11 & 12/13 - Swim 100 yds, Bike 3.0 miles, Run 1 mile

14 & Older - Swim 150 yds, Bike 6.0 miles, Run 2 miles

Transition Open from 8:00-9:30am and again at 10:45-11:30am
