2011 Paris Mountain Sprint Triathlon:

  • The Paris Mountain Sprint Triathlon is a new event in the GTS SCTS and is a partner event to the International distance event held on Saturday in beautiful Paris Mountain State Park - Greenville, SC.
  • This event is designed to give those not wishing to tackle the climbs up and over Paris Mountain a chance to compete on this double event weekend.

    • Course Information:


  • Athletes will begin the day in a time trial start format in the spring fed waters of Lake Placid within the Paris Mountain State Park.
  • The 500 meter swim will be wet suit legal and over before you know it.
  • From there the 10 mile bike course will roll along in the shadows of Paris Mountain.
  • Finish with a fairly fast 5K run.
