_ 2017 Morro Bay Triathlon:
Morro Bay Triathlon is back and better than ever. It is a true destination triathlon with California flavor. Swim the bay, ride historic highway 1, and run on the hard packed sand on the beach, board walk, dirt roads and paved roads. Come out and enjoy some of the finest multi-sport terrain on the west coast! We offer an alternative kayak and stand-up paddle board course to the non-swimming multi-sport athletes, in addition to the traditional swim portion of an Olympic and Sprint courses.
We pride ourselves on running a safe, fun and challenging event, there will be lots of volunteers and our course is very well marked. Students must show ID at check in. Email us for military/service discounts!
Course Information:
Swim:
- The swim is in Morro Bay and patrolled by lifeguards on paddle boards and Harbor Patrol boats.
Bike: - Our bike course is and is an out-and-back with scenic ocean views, on paved roads.
Run: - The run is mostly flat with a combo of board walk, dirt roads, paved roads and hard packed sand.
