The Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a 5K and Kids Fun Run to celebrate Paint the Town Red 2016! Wear your favorite Pittsburg State Gear and enjoy an evening run through the neighborhoods and downtown area in Pittsburg. The race is sponsored by Freeman Health System and held in conjunction with the Paint the Town Red Block Party.
5k race participants registered by August 19 are guaranteed an official race tee shirt, after date shirts are available on a first come first serve basis. Awards: Top male and female finisher, top three in each age category.
Kids Fun Run is free to children 13 and under, registration is required. Every fun run participant receives a finisher’s medal. Registration begins at 6 pm, race at 6:30 pm.
In the event of inclement weather, the race will be rescheduled. Race fees will not be refunded.
