With a focus on youth specific races Rip Roar holds the highest level of youth specific safety concerns, and course precautions while also creating an atmosphere to encourage youth involvement at all ages and skill levels. The races are timed, while having a competitive element are in place to encourage youth to participate in the sport and have their best day ever!
By definition, RipRoar is exciting. It's loud, it's engaging, it's 'full of energy and vigor', it's the moment a child runs through our finish line, full of pride and accomplishment and unleashes their wild on the world. RipRoar is an X-Factor that our team brings to events. It is our passion to create moments of transformation for kids by creating a stage for them to shine. It's what we want to see more of in our communities and in the next generation.
Each age group will compete in a “serpentine swim” in the 25 meter section of the Cherry Hill Aquatic Center. Great viewing and a bit of dancing for kids and parents alike.
The bike course takes kids to adjacent Stoney Point Rd for a completely closed course bike section. Parents will have plenty of great places to stand, cheer and count laps. The bike course has one medium sized hill.
The run takes place on a cinder running trail wholly within Cherry Hill Aquatic Center. There is a bike cross county section that makes for nice photos and a bit of a challenge. Run times will be fast coming into the finish line.
