Course Information:


  • Open water swim 750 meters in Strom Thurmond Lake.
  • Mountain bike 2 loops of the 7.2 mile Lakeview Trail.
  • Trail run 5 miles taking in the Turkey Ridge Loop Trail.

  • Hickory Knob State Park is the host venue for the trail runs and the triathlon.
  • Located on the shores of Strom Thurmond Lake, there is a multitude of activities for those racing, their families and friends.
  • Hickory Knob is located at 1591 Resort Drive, McCormick, SC 29835.
  • It is approximately: 2.5 hours from Atlanta, 1 hour 45 min from Columbia, 3.5 hours from Savannah, and 1 hour 45 min from Greenville, SC.
