The River Vista 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon winds through the beautiful mountains and valleys of Rabun County in Northeast Georgia past Christmas lights, waterfalls, scenic overlooks, and farmlands. The 5K on Dec. 2nd will begin at 8:00pm and run through the Christmas lights at Dillard City Hall and end at the Dillard House for Christmas festivities.The 10.5K on Saturday Dec. 3rd will start at 9:00am, and the Half Marathon on Sunday Dec. 4th will start at 9:00am. The races all begin inside the River Vista RV Resort. The Mountains Village Center will host an expo and packet pick-up Saturday Dec. 3rd from 2:00 - 6:00pm offering plenty of free parking and restrooms. There is a 4 hr. course limit for the marathon. For the experienced runners, a Triple Peak Challenge has been added. Run all 3 races and earn a special fleece jacket along with a discounted entry fee. Lodging is available at River Vista RV Park and our travel partners. For participants registering late, you will need to choose from the remaining t-shirt supply.
