The popular triathlon at Biltmore Lake in Enka is returning to the Asheville racing scene after a one-year absence with a new name and under new management. Glory Hound Events has been granted permission by the Biltmore Lake Association and will join forces with Set Up Events to stage the Enka Triathlon at Biltmore Lake in and around the community on June 14, 2008. The new event will capture the traditions of the old event while improving both the bike and run courses. This effort will help minimize the impact on residents and improve the safety of the athletes.

[br]This sprint distance event will consist of a 750 meter swim in Enka Lake, a 15.5 mile bike around the Enka area, and a 3 mile run primarily on the trail circling Enka Lake.
