The San Francisco Triathlon at Alcatraz begins with a boat jump and 1.5-mile swim from historic Alcatraz Island, a hilly 20-mile bike leg, and a scenic yet challenging 7-mile run to include the world famous destinations.
Known for its rough water Alcatraz channel crossing, hilly and challenging course, the San Francisco Triathlon at Alcatraz participant field will be limited to the first 900 registered athletes. The course is designed by athletes, for athletes, to feature the city of San Francisco and local communities, clubs and businesses for their amazing qualities.
