A clinic devoted to teaching you the skills to build your confidence in open water swimming. Thie session will address the unique challenges of OWS, give you experience in practicing new skills and provide a supportive environment for novice athletes.
Sessions ar 1-1.5 hours
Topics covered in the clinic include:
- starts
- sighting
- turning buoys
- positioning
- drafting
- releasing a cramp
- treading water
Time will be alloted to practice all skills in an OWS setting with kayak support and PFDs provided for novice swimmers.
