Course Information:

Course Information:

  • Swim:  (1/4 mile swim) The swim will take you straight out from the beach, approximately 50 yards, around a bouy and north parallel to the beach approximately 300 yards, and then back into the beach.
  • Bike:  13 Miles. The bike route will take you out of our transition area (north parking beach parking lot) due north up Manasota Key on Beach Road.  You will travel almost to the end of the key 6.5 miles, and turn around just before Manasota Beach. So, 6.5 miles up, and 6.5 miles back.  This is a scenic ride, with much of the course under tree canopy.  There will not be many turns, as this is a straight shot up and back!
  • Run:  This will be a 5K. The run will start by taking you back towards Tom Adams bridge, like you would travel off the key.  You will then turn back around near Sand Piper condos, making your way back onto Englewood Beach Road and go south towards Stump Pass Park.  Just before the entrance of Stump Pass Park you will loop back north, following the same path you ran, and finish right in front of the transition area.
