2016 Memphis In May Triathlon Weekend:
The Memphis In May Triathlon Weekend consist of The 7th Annual Memphis In May Sprint Triathlon on Saturday, May 21 at 8:00 am and The 34th Annual Memphis In May Olympic Triathlon. Edmond Orgill Park in Millington, Tn will again be the host race site.
$4,999 Prize Purse returning in the Amateur Challenge. Cash Prize will be divided among the top 15 male and female athletes participating in both triathlon events. The Amateur Chalenge will be scored by the combined times for both Triathlons.
Southern Hospitality abounds with finisher medals, award winning t-shirts, commemorative art poster, awesome post race party and awards ceremony with live music, food tent with beer, and Elvis sightings.
Active Duty Military and Reserves Division. Members of any branch of military sevice are encouraged to participate in exclusive divisions of The Memphis In May O;ympic Triathlon and The Memphis In May Sprint Triathlon which includes Challenge Coin awards for female and male age group winners.
Course Information:
Edmond Orgill Park supplies triathletes with an excellent setting for a triathlon. The swim will start and finish at the boat ramp of Casper Lake and complete a trianglar course around the lake and back to the boat ramp.

The bike courses leave the park and bike around the surrounding mostly rural area. The Sprint Bike Course is mostly flat and The Olympic Bike Cousre has a variety of rolling hills.

The run course for the Sprint Course will stay mostly in the park and the Olympic Course will run through the park and a neiborhood north of the park.
