Great 5K run around beautiful picturesque Lake Blackshear inside GA Veterans State Park! (and a 1 mile fun walk for those who don't want to go the 3.1 miles)... LOT of BANG for the BUCK! $30 for registration, a great long sleeve cotton T-shirt, goody bag, and LUNCH with BEER for those 21 & up after the 5K completes!! Great TERVIS TUMBLERS for 30 - 1st place finishers (15 each male & female catagories), and the BEST part is that the money we raise goes to our own RUN for your LUNGS non-profit and we give $1000 per month to a lung cancer patient in need!! Be a part of something making a REAL difference in REAL lung cancer patients lives! November is lung cancer awareness month, it kills the most people of ALL cancers, yet receives a fraction of the funding or attention! Join us in this amazing event for an even more amazing cause!! See ya Nov. 5th!
Directions:
From GA Hwy 300 about 10 miles south of Cordele (near Warwick), take Coney Road to Hwy 280, take a left and go a couple miles, the entrance to GA Veterans State Park is on the left. Follow the signs to the Cypress Grill & Marina area
