2016 Race Update:
The Moose Lake Triathlon 2016 is cancelled due to the flooding this week that has affected all aspects of our event and course safety.
The Moose Triathlon is a sprint triathlon that takes each year starting and ending in the Moose Lake City Park in Moose Lake, MN. There are individual, team, and youth divisions with prizes for each, including age division prizes for the top 3. Each participant receives a shirt. Chip timing provided by The Duluth Running Company. We expect over 100 participants in 2016. Come enjoy the beauty of Moose Lake!
The course begins and ends in Moose Lake City Park. The .4 mile swim starts and ends on the same beach in the Moose City Park. The 12.35 mile bike starts and ends in the Moose Lake City park. The course is all paved and runs on city streets, the Munger Trail, and county highways. The run is all paved as well and goes along scenic Moosehead Lake and Lakeshore Drive in Moose Lake.
Enter Moose Lake off of I-35 and follow the signs to Moose Lake City Park off of Birch Avenue or 5th Street in downtown Moose Lake, MN.
