2015 Pony Express Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K:
• The Pony Express Marathon has a start and finish on Capitol Mall, in the heart of beautiful Sacramento. We offer a full marathon, a half marathon, a Pony Run 5k and a four person relay.
Course Information:
• The full course starts at 4th Street and Capitol Mall and finishes at 10th Street and Capitol Mall.
• Our particapants will cross the iconic Tower Bridge, see Raley Field, run through historic Old Sacramento and along the beautiful Sacramento River.
• You'll see the "Pocket" of Sacramento and come back up into town by Land Park and through Midtown.
• We hope you can join us!
Other Info:
• The Health and Fitness Expo will be held on April 29 and 30 at the Sacramento Embassy Suites. Come out and see the newest gadgets the endurance sports world has to offer! We also offer a full Finish Line Festival featuring a food, music, and more vendors.
• We have partnered with Yolo Brewing who is creating a craft beer just for us! There will be a relay of Pony Express beers to choose from available at the Finish Line Festival for all runners who are 21 and over. As part of your registraion, the first 1,000 participants (of legal drinking age) will receive a limited edition bottled Pony Express beer.
