The City of Gold Triathlon is held inside the Bidwell Canyon Recreation Area at Lake Oroville.

2011 City of Gold Triathlon:

City of Gold Triathlon & Duathlon CANCELED1CA State Parks & Recreation has chosen to deny our permit request for hosting the City of Gold Triathlon & Duathlon at Bidwell Canyon Recreation Area with the claim that our event (closing the launch ramp) is a disservice to the rest of the park visitors. They have offered alternate locations, however we have significant safety concerns and are thereby forced to end the City of Gold for good.Fall Event to Come2We had a great seven years hosting this fun, challenging event! We thank you for all of your support and good vibes making the City of Gold one of our favorite events! Please stay tuned for a fall triathlon/duathlon from Under the Sun Events!
