The 12 mile open water swim has a beach entrance, and takes place in beautiful Lake Tawakoni, which is only 50 miles east of Dallas. The scenic 23.8 mile single-looped bike course is fast with a couple of rolling hills. The bike mileage is closer to an Olympic distance. If youre packing up your gear and coming out to race, we want to make it worth your while! The 3.1 mile run is an out and back with a couple of challenging grades to conquer, and a fun 14 mile trail run to kick it off.

The Spring Fall Classic Sprint Triathlon series also gives racers the unique opportunity to improve their times on the same course in the same season! If you choose to do both races, you no longer need to wait an entire year to compare your race times in a single event. With one race at the beginning of the tri season and another race just 4 12 months later, participants will be able to accurately mark their improvement over the summer. This race is definitely not your ordinary Sprint triathlon - The Spring Fall Classic is the BIGGEST little Sprint in Texas!

TEAM CATEGORIES:

The Spring Fall Classic features 2 team categories. In addition to getting your individual results you can also race n either of the team categories. For the Duo team category 2 teammates' times will add up to their total time with categories for men's, women's and mixed. For the Team category you must have at least 3 and at most 5 team members and the top 3 finish times will count toward the team ranking. Don't know if you have a team yet? Course Information:

SWIM COURSE
: The 12 mile open water swim has a beach entrance, and takes place in beautiful Lake Tawakoni. The course runs counter-clockwise and takes swimmers around a small peninsula. Swimmers exit the water via a boat ramp, which takes them directly into the transition area very little running is involved.

BIKE COURSE: This 23.8 mile single-looped course is mostly flat and definitely fast. There are a couple of minor hills with gradual grades, but nothing a seasoned cyclist would bat and eye at. The mileage is closer to an Olympic distance, giving racers a slightly larger race than your ordinary Sprint distance. If youre packing up your gear and coming out to race, we want to make it worth your while!

RUN COURSE: The 3.1 mile run takes you out of the transition area and down a short path to a trail head. This short trail run weaves through trees about 14 mile, before it takes you out of the park. Once you hit the road, the course becomes an out and back with a couple of rolling hills to challenge your tired legs. Back in the park, it is a fast and straight path to the finish line.
