2011 Playtri King Tut Triathlon:

  • Race like an Egyptian!
  • That's right - if it's April that means it's time for the famous Playtri King Tut Triathlon!
  • Located at beautiful Stonebridge Ranch, the race begins in protected Lake Caroline with a 500m swim which is almost always wetsuit legal.
  • The swim is followed by a hilly-but-fast bike course and protected run.

  • The swim is in a small, man-made lake. NO SWIMMING IN LAKE ALLOWED PRIOR TO RACE DAY!!
  • The bike is on nice concrete urban roads. The course is slightly hilly but fast. Each major intersection and turn around will be traffic controlled with directional assistance.
  • The run course is moderately hilly and challenging. Aid stations will be located approximately every 1 mile.
  • Each aid station is equipped with water and Gatorade.
  • The course officially closes at 11am for all participants.

  • The volunteers are always wonderful, the course is well-marked, and the post-race party is not to be missed - free food, fun, and awards.
