What do you get when you mix a kid-friendly, super sprint duathlon with a few surprise adventures and set the course on a farm in late October? The Kids Adventure BOOathlon at Knills Farm Market!
Set in rural Mount Airy in central Maryland, the Kids Adventure BOOathlon at Knills Farm Market is one part duathlon, one part adventure and several parts fun! Open to children ages 5 to 14, the Kids Adventure BOOathlon at Knills Farm Market will challenge children both physically and mentally, combining a .75 mile run, 2 mile bike and .5 mile run with a few surprise adventures in between!
The event will be held rain or shine. Truth is, we'd love for it to rain a few hours before the race just to make things interesting!
The Kids Adventure BOOathlon at Knills Farm Market is a USA Triathlon Sanctioned Event. All children must either be current USA Triathlon Youth Members or purchase a one-year USA Triathlon Youth Membership for $5. You will be prompted to enter your child's USAT Youth Membership number and expiration date or purchase a USAT Youth Membership during the online registration process.
There is no rain date for this event. There are no refunds. Race distances are approximate.

Course Information:
The Kids Adventure BOOathlon at Knills Farm Market will challenge children both physically and mentally, combining a .75 mile run, 2 mile bike and .5 mile run with a few surprise adventures in between! The .75 mile and .5 mile run courses will be over grass fields, while the 2 mile out-and-back bike course will follow a flat, private road closed to traffic consisting of both paved and dirt surfaces. Skinny-tired road bikes and bikes with training wheels are discouraged.

Families are encouraged to enjoy all that Knills Farm Market has to offer before and after the race including a farm market, hay rides, a corn maze, pumpkin picking and a couple of the most outspoken goats you'll ever meet!
And, since a race is only as good as its schwag and post race food, in addition to an experience your child won't soon forget, all participants will receive a finisher "award," a Kids Adventure BOOathlon at Knills Farm Market premium item, yummy post race food and drinks, and will be eligible for door prizes.
