2010 King Of The Smokies Triathlon:

Sprint distance triathlon staged at the Pigeon Forge Community Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Course Information:

2010 Triathlon Course Information:

The swim starts with a indoor 150 yard (6 lengths) swim; transitioning to the outdoor pool for 150 yard (6 lengths) swim.

Exit the swim to a fast 16.5 mile flat to despective rolling hill bike.

From the T-2 Transition onto the run at the Pigeon Forge Community Center, a fast and flat 3.5 mile run on a paved "Greenway" no traffic which is a out an back on both the bike and run to the Finish line at the Community Center.

Directions:

From I-40 East / West:

Take Exit 407 to TN-66 into Pigeon Forge.

Turn right onto Community Center Drive at Light 2B.

Community Center will be on your left.

This Triathlon has many Special Event Venues planned. A Triathlon Expo will take place before , during and after the Event.

Epix Triathlon clothing from Irmo South Carolina, Light Speed , Merlin, Quinato Roo, from Chattanogga, Tenneesse, and several other Triathlon Speific will be there.

Great Handcrafted Pottery from Pigeon Forge Pottery will be given to all Winners in each Division.

Finshers will receive King Of The Smokies Medallions, Plenty of great gifts awards etc at an Awards ceremony following the event.

** Note: No Times will be posted until the Awards Ceremony.

Plenty of food and a Great Triathlon to finish the year out on. We Truely want to know "Who is King and Queen Triathlete of The Smoky Mountains!!!"
