2010 Newton Trail Triathlon:
This race is designed with non-technical, fun bike and run trails. Newton Trail Triathlon includes elements of surprise, suiting those who want a fresh take on this popular sport. Unlike traditional races, this event is in swim - run - bike order and does not allow time trial or triathlon specific bikes.
Course Information:
750 meter swim - 5 km trail run - 10 km trail bike
The race starts with an open water swim, followed by an undulating run on sand, grass and gravel trails. The bike is mostly on dirt roads and non-technical single and double track trails. Mountain bikes will be the fastest choice for most people, but cross, or road bikes with large diameter, aggressive tread tires can be used.

Trail Triathlon is being held at picturesque Boulder Reservoir, 15 minutes from downtown Boulder, CO with views over the Rocky Mountains. The reservoir address is 5565 51st St, Boulder, CO 80301.
