2010 JCC Youth Triathlon:

The JCC Kids Triathlon provides a fun and healthy opportunity to help children stay active this summer.

By combining swimming, biking and running in one sport, participants benefit from well-rounded fitness workouts, enhancing their endurance and strength, and having a lot of fun!

Course Information:

Completely closed course with a pool swim.

Tri for Tots: 25 yard kiddie pool walk/swim, .75 mile bike, .25 mile run.

Ages 6-10 100 yard pool swim, 3 mile bike, and 1 mile run.

Ages 11-14: 200 meter pool swim, 5 mile bike, and 1.5 mile run.

Teen Elite: 300 meter pool swim, 6.5 mile bike, 2.2 mile run.

Directions:

The Jewish Community Center is located in Southern Johnson County, Kansas at 5801 W. 115th Street, Suite 101, Overland Park, KS 66211.

We are near Town Center Plaza and the Sprint World Headquarters.

Awards & Age Groups

Tri for Tots: ages 4 & 5.

Individual: 8 and Under(short course); 9-10(short course); 11-12 (long course); 13-14(long course). Teen Elites 15-17.

Relay (team members ages totaled) 24 and under(short course) 25 and up (long course).

NOTE: Pursuant to USA Triathlon Rules the age of an athlete is his or her age on December 31 of the year of the event.

$41 individuals by June 24th - ($51 after June 24th)

$75 teams received by June 24 - ($85 teams after June 24)
