The 600 yard/13 mile bike/4 mile run sprint course is the same course made popular by the Smokin the Water triathlon in 2012-13. Wave start out and back swim, fairly flat (by East TN standards) bike course, and an out and back around the Fort run on the Kingston greenway. Greenlayer performance shirts and race logo socks to the first 200 registrants, with post- race food provide by Subway. New for 2014 are the mini cannon awards made popular at Storm the Fort Olympic in the past. Third leg of the 2014 Fleet Feet Grand Prix Sprint Series, USAT sanctioned race.
