Tons of triathlete support, like Max 'Buddies' Swim Buddy - in the water directing swimmers where to go and assisting those who need help during the swim Turn Buddy - at every bike & every run turn telling you where to go and cheering you on Transition Area Buddy - answering questions and providing helpful advice at every transition area for everyone from newbies to veterans.
Inspiration Station - all supplies are provided to create a fun sign to help you notice your supporters and get inspired at the same time!
Swim Course The swim takes place in the Hopkinton reservoir - clean, spacious, scenic and calm. Family and friends can watch too, given the ample room afforded by the transition area and swim start. The water will be a comfortable 72-74. Youll enjoy the HUGE white buoys that clearly mark each turn and the flag-lined chutes that guide you back to the transition area!
Bike Course The bike leg is an excellent course. It begins on park roads, with downhill turns and rolling terrain through Southborough and Ashland. You'll experience one challenging hill to make it even more exciting, as you cross the start of the famous marathon. You'll finish with a fun downhill as you enter the park for the final run leg.
Run Course The final portion finishes with a 5-k run, 100% inside the scenic Park. Crowd cheers echoing off the reservoir will help you as you make your way to the 300-yd. flagged chute to the huge arched finish line.
