Come out and wear your zaniest green as you run through the scenic Charlotte Greenway and University Business Park! This is a run/walk so come out whether its your first 5K or you are trying to set that PR! It will be a scenic 5K run/walk through the Charlotte Greenway and University Business Park.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the children of Corvian Community School. Corivan is a North Carolina Public Charter School that believes in educating the whole child and providing each child with an excellent public education. Corvian strives to develop a community by nurturing relationships with its children, parents and the community that surrounds it.
Corvian Community School believes that all children deserve the right to grow up happy but sadly many do not have that luxury. Last year there were nearly 5,000 homeless children in the Charlotte schools. Corvian will be accepting donations of school supplies, clothes, etc. for A Childs Place.
