2010 Lowell Mill City Triathlon & Aquabike:

  • The Olympic race and olympic aquabike start at 8:00am.
  • The sprint race and sprint aquabike start at approx. 8:20.
  • Transition for all events closes at 7:45am.

    • Course Information:

  • The swim is in the Merrimack River, a class B river.  The first half of the swim is up stream and the second half is down with the current.
  • The bike course is a 13 mile loop, done once for the sprint and twice for the olympic with some nice flats and a few rolling hills through the middle of the course.
  • The run is flat along the Pawtucket Blvd out and back.

    • Directions:

    Heritage State Park/Lowell City Beach:

  • Route 3 to exit 32.
  • Take Drum Hill Rd. to the Rourke Bridge.
  • Over the bridge take a right.
  • Event is 1 mile on right.
