The Shenandoah Epic Adventure Race will consist of 26 hours of adventure. Racers challenges will be paddling, biking, trekking, navigating and other team challenges. We have designed the course so that all mandatory points can be acquired in about 13 hours. However we will have optional checkpoints on the course and teams can get those points at any time during the race and cross the finish line in less than 26 hours
This years race will feature a long paddle to start the race, a day time orienteering course, a day time mtb course followed by a rogain style night course with biking and a night orienteering course.
From Northern Virginia, take I-66 West to exit 13 (Linden). Turn left off the ramp. Go one block to a stoplight where you'll take a right onto Rt. 55 West. At the fifth stoplight, turn left onto 340 South. Drive eight miles; the park's entrance is on the right.
