You are invited to participate in the Pettijohn Pete Challenge Race and Fun Run, October 19, 2013. The race will take place at Pettijohn Springs Christian Camp in Madill, Oklahoma. Participants for the Race must be at least 15 years old. Fun Run participants may be any age.
Registration fee for the Race is $30 and includes electronic timing and t-shirt. Fun Run registration is $25 and includes a t-shirt. T-shirts will be available to participants who register by October 1, 2013. Registrations receive after that date will receive t-shirts as available.
Overnight accommodations are available for a small fee, first come, first served. Contact the camp office for more information. Proceeds from the race will go to PSCC Ropes Course development.
Course Information:
For those familiar with the camp property the race will go like this: Start at the main pavilion, run down to the lake and up the hill on the back side; run along the property line on the bluff and along the fence line to mid-field; run the length of the field then down the lake road from the bluff, around the lake and up the steps to the dining hall; turn west and go around the dining hall, down the steps through the girls area and up the lake road to behind the manager's house; run down the hill and back up behind the Hargrove Center, around and across to the Office and through the soccer field back into the field; turn around and run through the cactus patch behind the amphitheatre and boys' cabins to the circle road, turn left back to the main pavilion. The course includes up and down hill terrain (some very steep), mud pit, and several obstacles.

Located a few miles off of Oklahoma highway 199, Pettijohn Springs Christian Camp is located in beautiful southern Oklahoma. Surrounded by Tishomingo, Madill, and Ardmore. PSCC offers a quiet getaway that allows one to focus on spiritual growth and relationships. Actual physical address is: 14756 Pettijohn Springs Camp Rd., Madill, OK 73446.
