2010 KPC Sprint Triathlon for NIE:

  • The beautiful park-based shorter-distance course includes a competitive bike ride and a run through the Mid-America Windmill Museum.
  • This event is perfect for both experienced triathletes and those new to the sport!  Teams are permitted! 

  • This is the first year for the event; proceeds will fund the KPC Newspaper In Education program for schools in Indiana's northeast 4 counties.
  • Co-sponsors include the City of Kendallville, KPC Media Group Inc., Cole Family YMCA, and EN & Kendallville Kiwanis Clubs.

    • Course Information:

    SWIM:
  • Start with a 500 meter lake swim.

    BIKE:
  • Followed by a 12.69 mile bike race.

    RUN:
  • Finish with a 5-K cross-country style run.
  • The run includes a stretch in and around the authentic windmills of the Mid-America Windmill Museum before a shady and spectator-friendly finish in the park.
