SWIM START INFORMATION- The swim is an in-water, wave start. Water temperature is approximately 78 degrees. The course will be rectangular. Keep buoys to your left. Exit swim at the carpeted area next to the boat ramp.
BIKE TRANSITION AND COURSE -Bike rack rows will be marked by number. The course is an out & back Main Park Rd changes to Rt. 284 then RIGHT (look for Water Tower) onto Old Hwy. 111 to turn around just before Hwy. 111. Bottle exchange will be after the turn around. PLEASE - STAY TO YOUR RIGHT UNLESS PASSING !!!
RUN Course- The run is a scenic route through the state park. Aid stations will be approximately each mile- Gatorade, Hammer Gel, ice & water at each aid station Follow signs & volunteer directions.
From Nashville take I-40 East to Cookeville. Turn right onto 111 South (exit 288).Travel approx. 45 miles. Left on Highway 284 park about 10 miles.
From Knoxville, take I-40 West to Crossville to Peavine (exit 322). Take a left off the exit, turn right at the light and follow Highway 101 to Highway 30. Turn right on Hwy 30, park entrance is about 6 miles on the left.
From Atlanta, take I-75 North to Chattanooga, take I-24 toward Nashville, take Hwy 27 North toward Dayton and follow Highway 111 North to Hwy. 284 on the right park about 10 miles. Follow signs & arrows to race site.
Lodging: Stay at the inn at Fall Creek Falls State Park $ 76 + tax; 800-250-8610 for maximum convenience. Reserve early!!! Camping facilities also available in the park. Hotel accomodations are available in nearly Cookeville and Crossville. Visit our website for details.
Outdoor showers just after finish for post race cool down & wash!
Contact race director for Group Lodge 1 accomidations. These are small camping cottages about 1/4 mile from transition. Stay Friday & Saturday for low price. Cottages will sell out.
