RUN ZOMBIE RUN is a 5k obstacle race that will train you for the Zombie Apocalypse. Not only
is it a race against time but a race for survival from blood thirsty ZOMBIES.
Before the race you will be given a flag football belt with three flags. Make it across the finish line
with one or more flags and you survived.
Simple.
Maybe not.
Not only will you have to navigate the course and the obstacles...there will be Zombies on the trail
trying to get your flags, eat your brains...and worse. If you cross the finish line "flagless"...you died
and were infected.
Any participant may elect not to complete any/all given obstacles on the trail. Any participant that chooses not to complete an obstacle must perform 10 burpees at the surrendered obstacle before continuing the race. Youtube/Google "burpees".

Course Information:
Run Zombie Run is a 5k obstacle race that takes place at Algonkian Regional Park. The race will start on the White Trail at Algonkian's Volcano Water Park. The course will include multiple obstacles, on/off trail running, and runs through water/mud.
Directions:
FROM THE BELTWAY:
Beltway (I-495), take route 7 west 11 miles to Cascades Parkway North,
Drive 3 miles and proceed straight through to park entrance. The Haunted
Forest is located at the Volcano Waterpark.
FROM CENTERVILLE, CHANTILLY:
From the toll road: take VA-267 to route 28 North towards Sterling (5.8 miles)
Exit onto VA-625 E/W Church Rd toward Sterling (1 mile)
Turn left at light onto VA-1794 Cascades Parkway (4.1 miles)
Continue onto Fairway Drive
The Haunted Forest is located at the Volcano Waterpark.
FROM LEESBURG, ASHBURN:
From Leesburg/ Ashburn: Take route 7 East to Cascades Parkway North,
Drive 3 miles and proceed straight through to park entrance. The Haunted
Forest is located at the Volcano Waterpark.

AWARDS:
Awards will be given to the top three (3) Survivors in the following age groups male and female
15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40+.
Top 3 Team Finishers Men, Women, and Coed.
(Top 3 times of surviving team members will be used to calculate lowest total time)
