Swim: Point to point course in Lake Peachtree. Two athletes enter the water every five seconds based on their anticipated swim times. Water temperatures in May are usually favorable to wetsuits, but wetsuits are not mandatory.
Bike: The bike is in Peachtree City and Fayette County. The roads are newly paved and the course has some moderate hills.
Run: The run is entirely on Peachtree Citys famous golf cart paths. The course has a few hills, but nothing extreme.

Aid Stations: There will be one aid station on the bike course at the 1/2 way point. There will be gatorade endurance and water provided. There will be one aid station approximately every mile on the run that is also stocked with gatorade endurance, water and pretzels.
Packet PickUp: On May 14th the expo and packet pick up will be at Drake Field from 4-8pm. You may also pick up your packet on race day, May 15th starting at 5:30am. Please remember to bring your picture ID and USAT card. If you are a relay, you will have to have all members of your relay team with you to pick up your packet. You may NOT pick up someone elses packet.
Rules: This is a USAT Sanctioned Event with USAT Sanctioned Race Directors. All of the USAT rules will be in effect and followed. For further review of the rules, please visit - www.usatriathlon.org. Please check the tab on the tri4gold.org website for a list of common penalties.
Entry: The PIT allows both invidividual entries as well as various relay catagories and aquabike (swim and bike only). Check active.com for complete discriptions.
Age Groups: Age groups will be in 5 year increments and start at age 15.
Cut-off Times: For the sake of our volunteers and city officials, cut-off times for this race have been implimented. Swim - 1:00, Swim and Bike 3:00, Swim/Bike/Run 4:00
Medals: Custom Medals are given to all finishers.
