5k Open Race, The Ultimoook Race : Off Road |
Obstacle/Mud Runs : 3.1 miles with mud pit, 2 river crossings, unique obstacles in this cross country race. |
The Ultimook Cross Country Invite offers a REAL cross country experience
without sacrificing a quality, raceable course. It features a mud pit, two river
crossings, a steep hill portion, and other unique obstacles. It is not a fast course,
but promises to be a team favorite meet. We've added a new element to this
year's race which will add even more intrigue to the meet (you'll need to come
to find out what it is--all I can say is that it's never been done before).
It offers serveral race divisions, both high school and middle school. But after
last year's success, we expect the race to fill up soon. In addition to our middle
school races, we are limiting registration to the first 100 high school teams to
sign up. See more info below.

We're also holding The Ultimook Running Camp August 11-17. The camp's
mission is to develop long distance runners in both mind and body. This
camp includes several trips to various beaches along the Oregon Coast,
the area's most challenging remote logging roads, and winding trails through
the coastal rainforests. More importantly, though, it includes lessons on
mental toughness, team goal setting, and leadership. This unique training
environment will challenge and inspire young runners of all levels. Individuals
and teams welcome. Please visit www.ultimookrunningcamp.com for more
information or contact [email protected]. with questions.
*High School 5k course has a multitude of terrains with empahsis on REAL cross
country racing. Middle School 3k and Open Race 5k.
*Spectacular setting on one of Oregon's largest flower farms with a natural park
setting.
*Marsh pit, river crossings, giant hill, wood chipped trails, and a new feature this
year you'll have to come to find out (wouldn't believe it if I told you).

*Corn Maze team competitions. Challenge other teams to the Oregon Coast's
