The swim clinic will teach various open water skills. One station will be for stroke analysis, one station will be in a shallow Olympic size pool for navigation, a third station will be for entry and exits, and a fourth station will be for deep water work in a diving well. An additional component will be an actual swim in open water at Morse Reservoir. Coaches will be working with beginning through very advanced swimmers. Coaches include triathletes, open water swimmers and those that do both types of events. Private coaching will be available for individuals after the formal clinic. Rates vary by coaches, but generally is it $1 per minute.
Course Information:
The event will be held in a shallow pool, a diving well, a splash pad with a slant for simulation of a beach start and entry, and an actual swim in an open water venue.
Directions:
The event is held off Cicero Road (Hwy 19) in Forest Park. Cicero Rd. is north of Hwy 38 in the City of Noblesville, IN.
Previous Results:
This is the third year for the event. Many past attendees have commented that they were glad to be part of the event. Additionally, there will be returning attendees to get a "refresher course."
