2010 Tri-Shark Triathlon:
Well-organized sprint triathlon that serves as a season opener for many Central Illinois triathletes.
Good beginner race, plenty of volunteers, great post race food.
Course Information:
Swim Course (600 yards)
Lake swim course is Triangular.
Bouys stay on your right.
The start of the swim will be at the boat launch.
Bike Course (13 Miles) 13 mile bike on country roads
Out and back with some rolling hills.
Run Course (5K) The 5k run will take place on the road along the lake.
The course is closed to traffic.
Run course is an out and back with rolling hills throughout.
