This triathlon is open to anyone ages 6 through adult with a team option available to those 18 and up. Awards are presented to top 3 finishers in each age category. Distances will vary by age. The course should be considered beginner or an alternative workout for the day! The race begins in indoor pool then moves to school/public roadways for bicycling and running. Chip timing with 3 splits. Bike leg bears most of the transition time. Preregistation: $20; Race day: $25.
Course Information:
Indoor pool for swim with heat starts. All youth stay on school property for entire race. Adults use local public roadways for bike and portion of run. Public roadways are open to traffic and most intersections are monitored. Adult bike is primarily rolling hills and level with only one significant up hill with plateau about midway. Great course for beginner triathletes and those looking for an alternative workout.
