The Vermont Respite House 5k Fun Run and Jiggety Jog will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2012. The 5k course starts and finishes at the Allen Brook School and runs through the Southridge neighborhood. Registration opens at
The registration fee is $20, which goes towards the participants fundraising total. Registration and fundraising are easy with online personal fundraising pages that allow participants to reach out directly to neighbors, co-workers, friends and family, with personal messages and even pictures. Individuals who raise $100 in pledges will receive a Fun Run t-shirt.
Individuals or teams who raise $1,000 or more will become members of the Jiggety Jog Club and will be honored for their achievement at a ceremony following the race. Runners who participate in the 5k race will receive an official time and top finishers will be awarded medals in all age categories.
