RACE COURSES
The 1.2 mile triangular clockwise swim in Jordan Lake.
The 56 mile bike course - The 56 mile bike course will roll through Chatham and Lee County near and around Jordan Lake area. The course will feature some fast flat areas but also some rolling design. The last 15-20 miles feature a few challenging hills, so don't blow out the legs early in the ride. There will be 2 water bottle handoffs on the bike course.
The 13.1 mile run coursen - The 13.1 mile run course will be a 2 loop out and back course. The course will feature a some rolling hills and small inclines. The run course also has a .25 patch of gravel road. Water stations will be located every mile, so you will have plenty of hydration on the course.
Water stops will be stocked with water, heed, hammer gels, coke, gummy bears and sponges. Please put all trash near the water station to keep the area clean.
The race course revolves around a transition area next to the finish line. The same transition area will be used for all phases. The transition area will open at 5:30 am; ALL bikes need to be placed in position before the transition area closes at 6:45 am.
Cut off times:
Swim 1 hour and 30 minutes
Bike 5 hours from your start time
Total 8 hours from your start time
Race officials reserve the rights to pull anyone of the course that will not meet the time requirements.

Vista Point: The entrance to Vista Point is on North Pea Ridge Road/SR 1700. Traveling west on US 64, cross the lake, continue 3.7 miles and take a left at the first traffic light onto North Pea Ridge Rd. Continue 2.3 miles to enter Vista Point.
