I have been the Head Triathlon Coach for the Central Ohio Team In Training Chapter since '03. Prior to coaching with TNT, I spent 13 years coaching at the age group, high school & collegiate level in Ohio & Tennessee. I began my head-coaching career at my prep alma mater in 1993 working with the cross-country teams, serving those programs for six years. I directed both the boys and girls to six conference titles, three district crowns, two regional championships and six appearances in the state meet. In 1997, was named District Coach of the Year the same year the girls finished second in the state. I was also named conference Coach of the Year all six seasons.

In 1997, I added the track and field head coaching position to my duties and successfully turned around a girls program in one season. That team finished first or second each year in the conference while setting six varsity records. I was named conference Coach of the Year and had four distance runners earn All-State honors in the 800m, 1600m & 3200m.

In 1999-2000, I served as the only full-time assistant coach with the swimming program at Kenyon College, helping coach Jim Steens team garner their 21st consecutive mens national championship and 17th straight womens NCAA title.

I then joined the Athletic Staff at Tennessee Tech University as the Head Cross Country & Track Coach.  In my first full season as Head Coach my athletes set 10 school records indoor and 13 outdoor. I now specialize in coaching endurance athletes of all abilities in Central Ohio to help them reach their full potential.
