Have you always wanted to do a triathlon, but wasn't sure where to start? Or, maybe you've done one or two races and you need some help training. Are you just someone who needs a fun group to train with?
Elyse Jarard, owner of Venus Fitness For Her, a premier personal training studio in Montgomery, is a USA Triathlon Certified Coach and is an expert at training beginner and intermediate athletes for their first race, or to hone their skills. She holds Ladies Only triathlon training groups May to September which meet all around Cincinnati.
Elyse is a certified personal trainer and has worked with women to get stronger, prevent injuries, lose weight, or just feel good about themselves through fitness for over 10 years. She has been participating in triathlons since 2004. Elyse understands the demands of women's lives and that some programs can be too time consuming for most. We train for fun, and if we place its just icing on the cake.
Elyse has a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Cincinnati and developed a passion for helping women become empowered through fitness in her early 30's. She felt so passionate about women having their own sprint event and bringing awareness about ovarian cancer that in 2008 she started the Fit To Fight Ovarian Cancer Triathlon. The triathlon became known as a fun, beginner-friendly event all over the region. In 2012 she held her last race as director and decided to devote that time to training others.
