Coach Details
Christine N. Morrison, Ph.D., is a USA Triathlon Level I certified coach and has been a mentor, teacher, or coach for 20 years. At 16, she started coaching junior speed skaters, and she made a career out of teaching and mentoring as a chemistry professor before completing her triathlon coaching certification in 2023. She uses her experience as an athlete, her training as a coach, and years of mentorship to help athletes reach their goals. Christine works with all types of age group athletes, including those aiming to integrate fitness into their lifestyle, complete their first triathlon, or earn a spot on the podium.
As an athlete, Christine began inline speed skating at the age of 12, and she earned a bronze medal at Junior Olympic Inline Speed Skating Nationals and also dabbled in short track. Drawn to the mountains and the outdoors, she hung up her speed skates and picked up cycling. Running and swimming soon followed. Christine’s first triathlon was in 2016, and since then she has competed in numerous triathlons at all distances. Her current focus is long course (70.3) and standard (Olympic) distance triathlon.
Those who know Christine best describe her as infectiously positive, immensely supportive, and a fierce athlete.

- 1st place (female 35-39) at the 2023 IRONMAN 70.3 North American Championship in St. George, Utah
