  • Coach Tanya has been an athlete for over 30 years, starting with teaching fitness classes at local gyms.  She embraced the endurance culture in 2012, while always emphasizing benefits of strength training and mobility.  Between 2012 and 2013 she ran her first half marathon, bought a bike and completed 7 full centuries by the end of 2013.   The only thing truly missing was swimming and when Coach Tanya learned to swim in 2016, a triathlete was born!

    Since then, she has completed several sprint and Olympic triathlons, and 6 – 70.3 IRONMAN’s, several relays for 70.3 IRONMAN – and there is more to come!  Her love of triathlon was immediate and from there, she went on to get her USAT Level 1 Coaching certification, continuing to share her love of endurance sports with others.  It’s Tanya’s opportunity to give back and help anyone entering the sport either for the first time or for those who want to continue to improve.

    Tanya’s strengths are helping others conquer their fears, through her own experiences and through a strong mental endurance focus.  She will be your biggest advocate, she will guide you to success while gently prodding you to see your own way.  Tanya’s expertise in strength training is forefront in assisting endurance athlete’s understand how to be a stronger athlete, literally.
