My approach is comprehensive, in that I believe that there are five key elements to successfully train an athlete. In addition to the swim, bike, and run, nutrition and conditioning are also essential to effective training and a successful performance on race day. I work one on one with each athlete, whether local or virtually, to develop a comprehensive training plan that best suits their needs. I look forward to helping you achieve and surpass your goals.
I live and train in the piedmont area of NC. I have been married for 32 yrs and have three grown daughters (the oldest is a multiple IM finisher & Boston qualifier). I have over twenty years of teaching experience which I bring to coaching. I have completed 5 full distance Ironman races (2 more this summer), and many more shorter distance races. I coach because I love the IRONMAN lifestyle. My objective in coaching is to provide coaching services that are reasonable and available to all athletes regardless of their experience, to bring awareness to the sport and to unite with like minded athletes.
