The George Washington University Triathlon Team (GWU Triathlon Team) was established in November, 2011. The GW Triathlon Team brings interested GW students together to learn, train, and compete in the sport of triathlon in the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Triathlon Conference (MACTC). The team seeks to cultivate an atmosphere of personal dedication and teamwork to help members achieve personal and team goals. In addition, while we spend most of our time training and competing together, it is important that we continuously expand our community outreach. Whether this means volunteering and giving back to our community, meeting with other teams to better our training methods, or riding with a local bike shop, the farther we can reach the more support we can pull and provide.
