_ The 2025 Race the Straits of Mackinaw Triathlon, Duathlon & Aquabike:
We make our return to beautiful and historic Mackinaw City. A new venue at the Fort Mackinac park literally next to and under the bridge. The old venue was very small and had many limitations. The state park is huge with plenty of room for us to grow and expand. You will literally swim under the bridge in Lake Michigan and Lake Huron!
The bike will take you out on the newly paved roads to the beautiful Wilderness State park along Lake Michigan and back. While the run will take you along Lake Michigan past historic Fort Michilimackinac, before finishing in the park next to the bridge.
Course Information:
The swim will take you literally under the bridge in both Lake Huron and Lake Michigan as well as the Kayak, canoe or SUP. The bike will go out and back to the Wilderness state park and the run will take you past the historic Fort along Lake Michigan. The course is mostly flat with one hill on the bike with the run being pancake flat.
