Important 2024 Race Information
After thoughtful consideration and evaluation of our North American race calendar for 2024, we have made the decision to discontinue the IRONMAN 70.3 Steelhead triathlon.
We are grateful to Benton Harbor and the City of St. Joseph for hosting us and would like to thank our sponsors and partners for their support.

This is the race weekend getaway athletes need to experience before the craziness of summer begins. Athletes start their day on a scenic journey through Southwest Michigan, traversing through wine country and beaches to the finish line. After competing, premium vacation amenities are close by to help athletes unwind and toast to a job well done.
Course Information:
Half Ironman event held in southwest Michigan.
The swim portion takes place in Lake Michigan while the bike and run portions take place on the local surrounding roads.
