_ The 2019 Forever Home Run:
The Forever Home Run began in 2015 as a partnership between Lutheran Adoption Service and Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church to raise awareness and funding to support foster children waiting for their forever families. The event takes place at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and includes two races: a 5k through beautiful Bloomfield Hills complete with fall foliage and a 1k Dress-Up Dash! The 5k is certified (http://www.usatf.org/events/courses/maps/showMap.asp?courseID=MI15030MN) and professionally timed (microchip) by East Side Racing Company. You are welcome to wear your favorite costume for either the 5k or the Dress-Up Dash. There will also be children's activities including face paint, a bounce house, arts and crafts and community vendors. There will be prizes for overall winners as well as the top runner in each category. These prizes have yet to be determined.
In 2017, Lutheran Adoption Service facilitated 422 adoptions in large part thanks to the generosity of our participants and sponsors.
