Course Information:
Runners will follow the historic Santa Fe, California, and Oregon Trails and run past Lone Elm Park the campsite where the three trails converged. The route winds through the Old Olathe Naval Air Base, where Bob Barker of Price Is Right and astronaut John Glenn trained. The course is fairly flat the first 16 miles except for two overpasses. Miles 16-20 include gently rolling hills, and 20-26 flatten toward the finish in downtown Olathe.

We strongly encourage you to park at the finish line and not at the starting line. After your run, there will be NO transportation from the finish line to the starting line! Prior to race start, transportation will be provided by Matula Transportation Inc. from the finish line to the marathon starting line. Marathon shuttles will run between 5:00 a.m. and 6:15 a.m. The last marathon shuttle will leave at 6:15 a.m
