2013 Florida International Triathlon (FIT) :

The Sarasota Storm Tri Club proudly presents our 9th Annual Club Race.

This year weve moved the venue off the beach to the newly opened Nathan Benderson Park.

Upon completion in 2014 the park will be one of the most spectacular race venues around hosting numerous world-class events.

The triathlon will be held on Sunday and will consist of an international distance race and a sprint distance race.

However, the weekend will consist of much more than a day of racing.

Saturday the venue will host a running race and a stand-up paddle board race & demo, drawing hundreds of people. So bring your family and make it a true FIT weekend!

Course Information:

2013 Olympic Distance Race Course:

The International Distance Triathlon will be comprised of a 1500 meter lake swim within the park, a two -loop, 22 mile bike that navigates the area in and around the park and a 10k run that will keep you in the park for maximum spectator interaction.

2013 Sprint Distance Race Course:

The Sprint Distance Triathlon will be comprised of a half mile meter lake swim within the park, a one -loop, 13 mile bike that navigates the area in and around the park and a 5k run with in the park.

Directions:

Take I-75 to exit 213 (University Parkway).

Head West on University and take first left on Cattlemen Rd.

Follow Cattleman Rd. into the venue.
