Sprint 0.5 mile swim, 12.4 mile bike, 3.1 mile run.
Olympic 0.9 mile swim, 24.8 mile bike, 6.2 mile run. ATHLETES MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE OLYMPIC COURSE IN 3.5 HOURS

Course Information:

Swim Course: Sprint 800m (0.5 mile) Olympic (0.9 mile)

Sprint:The swim will take place at Kent Lake located in the northeast corner of the park. The course will swim in triangular clockwise pattern, starting and finishing by the beach area. Olympic 2 laps above course


Bike Course: Sprint 12.4 miles Olympic 24.8 miles

100% paved course. The bike course will begin in the main parking lot just south of the beach/transition area. The course starts by making a right out of the parking lot staying on the main and only park road-heading west. The course has a few flat sections but mainly consists of small hills and sweeping turns. Course will continue for 5.5 miles till a turn around point and aid station at Island Lake and Dodge shelter area (refer to map). Heading back athletes will go pass the beach/transition area, heading towards the Hickory shelter for another turn around. This end section ads on the remaining 1.4mi to complete the 12.4 bike course. Olympic athletes will do 2 laps


Run Course 3.1 miles (refering to the map a small .6 mile extension has been added running into Kensington)

The run course beginning out of the transition area will go to the right it is a modifided out and back course with 80% paved trail 20% grass conditions. It has a few steep hills down by the lake and is flat on the top on the south end of the course. Their will be 1 aid station for the sprint and 2 for the Olympic distance The race will end by the canoe launch area to the west of the transition 2 laps for olympic
